Shelly was a very popular winner of the award given in memory of our much-loved and much-missed friend Penny Pearson who passed away in 2016.
Shelly was nominated by her fellow WDP members, who variously described her as “a woman of many talents”, “a superwoman”, “hard working, reliable and willing to help and support others both on and off stage”, “a fantastic ambassador for WDP” and “smart, funny and the best company ever”.
Shelly isn’t resting on her laurels as she is currently directing Bedroom Farce which we perform at the Tivoli Theatre from 23rd to 25th February 2023.
